A rotational dial and striking mechanism to ring the bell are located inside the hanging bell and make big, beautiful sounds every hour on the hour. The rotational dial is improved to allow a clear time display from the front in the mirror.
|Name||Hanging Bell Clock|
|Additional information||The clock is designed with both the Japanese aesthetic sense and a touch of humor. The outer hanging bell alone was made in the Netherlands. But, all of the other components, including the engraving and internal rotational dials, were made in Japan. The clock was loaned to the Seiko Museum by Mr. Katsuyuki Kondo and is now on exhibit.|
