    First Grand Seiko

    Grand Seiko was born from the firm conviction to create a world-class Japanese watch of the high accuracy and highest quality watch. Pursuing the essence of a wristwatch-accuracy, legibility, and beauty-at a high level, Grand Seiko has continued to evolve. Even more than half a century after its inception, models equipped with the latest movements and contemporary designs are sold worldwide.

  • First Grand Seiko Platinum

    First Grand Seiko Platinum

    After the release of the first Grand Seiko, Seiko introduced its first model made of platinum, priced at 140,000 yen. Considering the starting salary of a high-ranking public servant was around 12,000 yen at the time, this was a very high-end model. This rare and valuable model is also exhibited.
