Iron Movement Tower Clock
This clock incorporates mechanisms invented around 1300 in northern Italy and southern Germany for the oldest mechanical tower clocks. The device has a heavy weight, crown wheel escapement, foliot balance, and bell striker to indicate the time. The daily error was said to vary from 30 minutes to an hour.
