Pocket Watches destroyed by the Great Kanto Earthquake
A pile of pocket watches awaiting service at a repair shop was melted into this molten glob by the heat of the fire after the Great Kanto Earthquake. Seiko offered new pocket watches to customers who contacted the repair shops without their receipt slips.
